What is The Ripple?
At HELVETII, we believe the outdoors has the power to change lives. We've seen it happen on every single trip we've run — people arriving as strangers and leaving as something else entirely.
But not everyone gets the chance to experience it.
The Ripple is our way of changing that. Every single month, the HELVETII community nominates someone who deserves an adventure — someone who needs it, someone who's earned it, or someone whose life could genuinely be changed by it.
We send them on a HELVETII trip. Completely free.
One nomination. One adventure. One ripple that changes everything.
How it works
Nominate
Know someone who deserves an adventure? Someone who needs a break, who's been through something tough, or who would never treat themselves to something like this? Nominate them using the form below. Tell us who they are and why they deserve it.
We choose
Every month the HELVETII team reviews all nominations and selects one person to receive a free spot on that month's featured trip.
We make the call
We contact the nominee out of the blue. They don't know it's coming. That's the best part.
They join the gang
The nominee joins the trip completely free — accommodation, food, activities, everything included. Just like every other HELVETII guest.
The ripple spreads
One person's life changes. They tell someone. That someone tells someone else. The ripple keeps going.
This Month's Trip
Lost in the Dales — Fri 28 to Sun 30 August 2026
Our second ever Ripple spot is on Lost in the Dales — a beginner-friendly Bank Holiday Hikeaway in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales.
Your base for the weekend is our own bunkhouse above Grassington in Conistone. Two scenic hikes across rolling Dales terrain, Chef Adam cooking throughout, a post-hike pub pint on us, and a proper Sunday roast with everyone around one table to close out the weekend. For those staying the optional extra night, the bunkhouse is yours to enjoy at your own pace.
This is the trip the second Ripple recipient will experience. Completely free. On us — and on this community.
Value: £275 per person (or £315 with the optional extra night) — fully covered.
